FOTD: Sea green eyes and nude pink lips
I was watching TV the other night and the news guy said that summer is officially over. It appears that the monsoon season has crept up on us unexpectedly and with a lot of attitude. I feel sad, but not that much since I’m not a beach person plus summer limits me to t-shirts, jeans and light makeup. Good news is now I can pile them on!
The look I have here, though, is quite sunny. It’s light, fun, and I suppose, fresh. You may want to amp the drama by swiping dark brown or gray eyeshadow on the crease and it would look just as cool. I opted for something lighter since I think sea green looks great on medium to fair skin tones—it really brightens up the eyes.
For my face I used: Artdeco Camouflage cream concealer in #8, Ellana Intensive mineral foundation in Hazelnut Latte, Ellana Translucent Finishing Powder in Almond, MAC Blot in Medium Dark, ELF Healthy Bronzing Powder, NARS Super Orgasm blush
For my lips I used: The Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm in Raspberry, Nyx Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie
For my eyes I used: In2It brow powder, Smashbox Single Eyeshadow in Snow (inner corners), Kanebo Kate Glamtrick Palette GN-1 (I used the light green shade on the middle of the lid), Smashbox Sea (crease), Lancome Daylight (browbone highlighter), Lancome Couture (brown shadow liner, lower outer corner), MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack, Clinique High Impact Mascara
Whoa, that was a mouthful. You might have noticed that I rarely do FOTD (face of the day) posts. It takes a lot of effort and I take crappy pics to boot, but when I do do them, I have a lot of fun. Until next!
