Hmm, White L-Glutathione Pills

I’m very happy with my coloring. I’m not one of those women transfixed on being as fair as humanly possible, nor am I interested in getting a tanned/ bronzed skin. I’m quite fine with the skin I’m born with, although, Interestingly enough, I didn’t have this when I was younger—I had dark, dark skin before. I lightened in high school for some reason, a color closer to my mom’s. No aid of whitening stuff, too. But I digress! Where was I? Yes, I like the color of my proudly Filipina skin, lol.

a little overexposed, but you get the idea

That’s why I don’t understand why glutathione is all the rage these days. I suppose it works, but like I said, I don’t want really light skin. Nonetheless, when a friend asked me to try them (White L-Glutathione pills) because his aunt was selling them, I did it because he’s one of my closest, most loyal friends since waaay back in high school. I got this bottle maybe three months ago but only used the pills last week.

I tried I think around three pills last week (one at night, one the next morning, one at lunch as per instructions) and quit immediately. Why? I don’t know if the pills are the cause, but I felt so bloated, like I gained an extra two pounds pronto. I was horrified, to put it mildly.

I didn’t use it long enough to find out about its whitening effects so I have nothing to say on that area. Suffice it to say that I am so not taking these again. How about you guys? What are your experiences with gluta products? Did your skin lighten? Did you get fat?
