My favorite face care products

This was supposed to be titled "my current skincare routine", but then I realized that I forgot to include a couple of regulars like the Myra e Daily Sun Protect Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 and the Eyliplex-2 eye cream. I also realized that I don't use everything every single day - as you know, I work from home, so I don't go out five days a week.

As such, I adjust my so-called "routine" into something less fussy. I'm vain, but I don't obsess about it!

Meet the team:

Left to right (click the links for reviews):  Muji Cleansing Oil for Sensitive Skin,  Pond's White Beauty Activated Carbon Cleanser, Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner,  Clinique Moisture Surge,  Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye, Smooth-365 Clarity + Smoothing Peptide Serum

Can I just say? I hate it that Muji hasn't yet restocked the Cleasing Oil! It's been months and I haven't seen one single cleansing oil on the shelves (at least on High Street since I haven't visited the branch in Rockwell). I'll be really sad if I don't get a bottle of this again - it's really good.

I also wrote about switching to the Clean & Clear Deep Action Cleanser but I find that the Pond's White Beauty is better for my needs; it cleans like no one's business and is good at preventing/clearing pimples. I do miss the superb oil control of the C&C facial wash though.

For kicks, my skincare routine last year:

In case anyone nitpicks, yes, I did say I don't like to spend a lot on skincare since I use them regularly. But in the past year of trying dozens of face care products, I observed that there are a lot of expensive skincare gems that are worth the price tag. If it works, I don't mind coughing up.

If I get the chance, I will post about my favorite hair/body products. So, question time! What are your favorite face care products?
