An afternoon with Lancome and my first impressions on the Visionnaire serum
A few weeks ago Lancome Philippines invited bloggers to visit their Greenbelt 5 Atelier. It's my first time to actually go inside so it was, to say the least, an interesting afternoon for me!
The atelier is posh, all gleaming glass and silver panels decorating the bright interiors. I immediately scoured the displays for makeup (surprise surprise?). Hehe.

Aside from skincare, Lancome is notable for their lipsticks and skin perfecting foundations
And who can forget those investment palettes?
Fragrances!
Part of Lancome's holiday collection is the Golden Hat Illuminating Smooth Powder. Proceeds go to Kate Winslet's Golden Hat Foundation, an organization that seeks to help children with autism.
Once everyone has settled down, Ms. Sheena Dy talked about the star of the day: the Lancome Visionnaire Skin Correcting Serum
Watch!
The Visionnaire is a serum that seeks to correct skin problems like wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne marks (!), and dullness. It promises to change your mind about undergoing medical procedures like lasers or chemical peels. But how is it, really? Surely it can't be a "miracle product", since every other serum claims to be one it doesn't mean anything anymore.
I've been using it on and off since I got it. The first time I used it, I noticed that my skin's texture changed. It is smoother, with a slinky silky feel when I wash it. I also think that it is finer and glowy! A lot of people commented that my skin looked great compared to before, and while there are a lot of factors that may have contributed to it, I think that the Visionnaire helped it along.
I haven't used it long enough to see a difference beyond the glow and the texture, but I do hope it clears up my acne marks. I'm not hoping that it would work for pores and I don't have wrinkles so I can't help you there. However I do know that my skin looked better ever since I started using it.
I'll have a review for you in a few weeks again. :D I have a good feeling about this serum, girls, so I'm excited to see what it can do for my skin with a more regular routine.
And that's it. I hope you enjoyed my tour of the Lancome atelier and mini-review of the serum! What are your fave Lancome products?
