FOTD + OOTD: What I wore to the Bloggers United Bazaar

I was so busy running around during the Bloggers United Bazaar last Saturday, which means that I can't write any useful post on it. Nonetheless, I just want to say that I had so much fun! I got to meet a few sweet Project Vanity readers, plus a lot of people dropped by the Ferretti booth to buy and look around.

Anyway! I just want to share what I wore to the event. I went for something simple because IT WAS SO HOT OUTSIDE and I wanted to be comfortable at the venue. Thanks to Paul for the photo!

As for the makeup, it was in keeping with the black/ taupe color theme. Here's how I did it!

Face: Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation, MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer, Clinique Airbrush Concealer (undereyes), Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup

Eyeshadows: Urban Decay Primer Potion, Beauty PRO Palette black eyeshadow, MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow, MAC Wedge eyeshadow (crease), MAC Femme Fi (brow bone), Bobbi Brown Gold Bar eyeshadow (gold microshimmers applied on the inner half of the lid)

How to:  Pat the black eyeshadow on the half of your lid, then cover it up and blend it with the taupe eyeshadow. Remove harsh lines with a neutral barely-there eyeshadow, then highlight the brown bones with something satiny. I added gold microshimmer on the inner half of my lid for that wet, glistening look.

Eye definition: Benefit Brow Zings (eyebrows), Majolica Majorca Lash Expander mascara

Cheeks: NARS Super Orgasm blush, NARS Laguna Bronzer

Lips: Aquafina lip balm, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Nude, MAC Plinked lipstick on top

MAC Plink is too cool on me so I add a nude base first to make the pink pop a bit more

And that's it! If you got to drop by the Bloggers United Bazaar, holler here and let me know what you thought about it!
