FOTD: Dusky plum

So, this is what I wore to a meeting last week! I just got my Sigma Flare Eyeshadow Palette from Pink Slippers Boutique and I was super itching to use the greens, but I restrained myself and went the plum route instead. Can't look too crazy in the boardroom, y'know.

To be quite honest I don't know how I feel about this palette yet. It's nice, but it didn't meet my expectations, considering the price. Will talk more about it soon, but in the meantime here's a look I did with the plum/violet eyeshadows!

 

Face: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, MAC Studio Finish concealer, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit (for dark circles), Clinique translucent loose powder, Guerlain Meteorites

Cheeks: NARS Super Orgasm blush, NARS Laguna Bronzer

Eyeshadows: UDPP (to prime lids), Sigma Beware (lid), Resist (crease and lower lid to line), Gossip (outer v), Publizie (brow bone highlight)

Eye definition: Estee Lauder Artist's Eye Pencil in Softsmudge Brown, VMV Ooh-La-Lash Mascara, Paul & Joe Eye Pencil in 01 (waterline), Shu Uemura Hard Formula eyebrow pencil in Walnut Brown

Lips: L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Rose Guava

Nail polish: NYX nail polish in Luscious Green

And that's it! I particularly like this look because plums look great on Pinay skin - it really highlights our warm tones and looks instantly elegant but not boring. ;)
