On the rise: Snoe Beauty Inc.

Jen Gerodias-Diaz was driving when she spotted a factory that manufactured soaps. She was looking for gifts to give to her friends that Christmas, so she thought of handing out personalized soaps. “They loved it!” she said. That’s when her mind started churning out ideas for what would be one of the rising beauty brands right now: Snoe Beauty Inc.

Running a business isn’t new to Jen. She already owns several pawn shops and gas stations but she wanted to indulge her kikay side this time. With the help of her sister-in-law, Gen Enriquez-Gerodias, the tag team conceptualized Snoe (pronounced as sno-wee). The girls are huge skincare and makeup addicts so they really know exactly what they want! The addiction helped them think up of the quirky packaging and of course, the product line itself.

The girls focus heavily on providing effective products that women would need in their day-to-day routine. They don’t want Snoe to be known as an organic brand - “What is organic these days, anyway?” Jen remarked - but they do include natural ingredients that prove to be good to the skin. Emu oil, argan oil, malunggay, singkamas (bengkoang), and acai berry are some of the weapons they use to boost their skincare products.

Snoe has a wide array of products that are designed to cater to all ages - and all budgets. Jen and Gen mentioned that their most expensive product is only around P700. How cool is that? From fragrances to hand sanitizers to sunblocks to gel tints, Snoe has quite a number of things up its sleeves. It’s still expanding so expect to see more products this year.

Out of the things they gave me, I am really digging the Green Tea Fizzy Clean hand sanitizer and the Snoe White Exfoliating Oatmeal Beauty Bar. I also like the Beso Balm and Glam Jam. Pretty excited about using Hair Heroes, too! I've been itching to use it since I got it because I'm intrigued by the concept - no shampoo, just the conditioner with argan oil - but I couldn't use it until I took photos. Ah, the woes of a beauty blogger!

Anyway, it was a pleasure to meet both Jen and Gen over coffee. I admire their keen business sense and of course, their love for all things beauty! So, stay tuned for my reviews, alright? ;) In the meantime, you can follow Snoe on Facebook and visit their mall branches:
