Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

I've had the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara (P995) for months now and I use it all the time. However, each time I sit down to try to review it my mind just drains of all thought. It's like writing about my toe. It's an integral part of me but it's not something I really think about, y'know?

The thing I like most about this mascara is how volumizing it is while still being incredibly easy to wash off. Yes, it washes off with just water; even so, the integrity of the mascara is not compromised with normal sweat and oil around the eyes. Just don't cry!

There are pros and cons of having a mascara that's washable. The obvious pro is you don't have to rub and sacrfifice a few lashes just to take it off. I personally prize this feature because I hate having to fuss over makeup removal after a long day.

On casual days, I would rather use a mascara that holds well during normal conditions (barring crying or rain or other sudden water on your face) and is easy to remove. Hardworking mascaras are great for special occasions or long-haul work days, but on a normal office or errand day you don't need them. Stick to washable ones, they save time and extra product.

Aaanyway. So, the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara. It lengthens my lashes but its main strength is in adding volume. My thin sickly lashes get a good dose of volume after only two coats! In this photo I just used one coat but you see the thick fringe already.

I also LOVE that this mascara doesn't clump, dries quickly, and gets into all the hairs with no trouble. Overall, it's quite good! I've worn this to countless meetings, events, shopping, errands, etc. and it has never failed me. Just a little note though - if you're teary-eyed, you might as well skip this since tears will dissolve the product.
