Sensitive skin and scalp? Here's the VMV Hypoallergenics Essence Clark Wash to the rescue!

If you have inflamed or overly sensitive skin, it's best to stop using normal drugstore shampoos with creamy textures. That's not a professional opinion ha. It's just common sense. :) Most drugstore shampoos are formulated to be aggressive with too many active ingredients that may or may not be hypoallergenic to you. Better bet on a clear shampoo specifically tailored for sensitive skin such as the VMV Hypoallergenics Essence Clark Wash (P800)!

The VMV Clark Wash is a hair and body wash for those with medically-managed conditions (such as psoriasis, rosacea, and dermatitis) or those who have easily irritated skin (acne, random rashes, itchiness, etc.). I used this for a few weeks and it worked pretty well for me! I didn't break out (of course) and it made my hair soft and manageable - compared to similar shampoos that is.

Unlike other clear shampoos/body washes, you don't need to use obscene amounts just to get this to lather up. A little goes a very long way and suds up easily. Also, it has a mild, slightly coconutty scent which I like. Nothing overwhelming since this doesn't have any fragrance.

I really liked that it's not overly drying like other clear shampoos. However, I find that this isn't enough to combat my dandruff. Yes, I get dandruff every so often (must be stress, random hair products I still insist on trying) so I normally use an anti-dandruff shampoo now. If you don't have that problem though, I don't see why this shouldn't be the ideal everyday shampoo (or body wash) for you.

It's a bit expensive at P800/250ml, but if you have a skin condition, it may be a worthy investment in exchange for a bit of comfort.

So yeah, great product! It's sudsy, smells pleasant, and won't irritate your skin condition. Try it if you're looking for a new shampoo/body wash for your sensitive skin!
