My top 10 favorite finds last June

I tried a lot of awesome high-end stuff last June so they're going to pepper this list. However, there are some affordable gems that you definitely shouldn't miss. Have at it!

I'm all for products that are convenient to carry around while still having a formula to beat. The Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Pale Pink is rather expensive but it's a handy prettifier than can do both your lips and cheeks in one hot minute. Useful when spotting your crush from the hallway and having almost no time to fix up!

Everyone, and I mean everyone, needs a great neutral eyeshadow palette. Not everyone can splurge for Bobbi Brown or MAC though, and that's where the Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eye Shadow Quad comes in. It's a well-thought out collection of flattering neutral shades, and the formula is pretty good too! "Not too expensive" is the magic phrase.

If you want stunning, perfect eyebrows, you can rarely do better than the K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow pen. It has a liquid pen tip that can thicken up even the sparsest eyebrows without making them look fake. The powder end can add some depth and volume so no one will be the wiser. ;)

On the other hand, if you want a quick fix because your eyebrows are normal and don't need much work anyway, you will love the Avon Perfect Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown. For P250, you have a great pencil that looks natural and flattering on Pinay skintone.

I think that the Shu Uemura Ultimate Natural Mascara in Dark Brown is the most expensive mascara I own. It's probably my best. I love how it enhances my lashes while somehow managing to look natural, plus even though it's washable it doesn't smudge during the day! Amazeballs. Nonetheless, there are way cheaper mascaras that are also good. This is nice to have if you don't mind the price tag but you can definitely live without it.

The Lancome Maqui Blanc Miracle Foundation is a nice high-end foundation for girls who want a satin, natural finish. It's not matte but it's not shimmery either - it's just right! It has a pretty good staying power and coverage as well.

My current go-to concealer is Artdeco Camouflage Cream Concealer. Used up a few pans of these years ago, and now I'm remembering what I love about it. As far as I know, there isn't a concealer under P500 that's as opaque and long-lasting as this one.

I'm not very particular about finishing powder, to be quite honest. As long as it sets my wet makeup I'm happy! But the Palgantong Theatrical Powder isn't a run of the mill powder. It smoothens, perfects, and mattifies your makeup wonderfully - at only P600 a jar too. Winner. I love it on top of liquid foundation.

The Etude House Precious Mineral Sun BB Pact is my current favorite touch-up powder. It has an honored place in my bag because of its super smooth finish, superb oil control, and cute pearly compact!

Where has the Aqua Massage Naturale Demaquillage Cellulose Sponge been all my life? In First Aid, apparently. I use this sponge everyday, twice a day, to keep my skin gently exfoliated and extra clean. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR EVERYONE NOT TO GET ONE. I'm not kidding. It's just P52 for a pack of two.

And that's it! How about you, what were your fave new finds last month?
