And now, the Pink Sugar HD Lipstick
Are you guys ready for Round 2? As promised, here are the complete swatches of the Pink Sugar HD Lipsticks (P299)! These lippies have a more buttery texture compared to the Creamy Matte Lipsticks, and have a satin, cream, or frosty finish. Staying power is at three to four hours, depending on whether you eat and drink.
And yes, you heard me right. There are a few lipsticks with a frosty finish, notably the three berry shades, one pink (Teenage Dream), and one red (Daydream). To their credit the shimmer is fine and not at all distracting, plus the colors actually work with the finish. It comes down to preference in the end!
There are 14 colors in this line. The scheme is the same as the Matte collection: there are deep purple/berry shades, hot pinks, and daring reds. The difference is that there are two nude colors that I think you guys will fall for. ^_^ Here are the swatches and shade descriptions!
Such A Tease is a frosty, earthy berry. This is a bit lighter than Pink Sugar's Creamy Matte in Sangria.
O.M.G is a frosty violet. Very pretty!
Delicious is a bright, reddish berry with silver frost.
Naked is a warm peachy nude lip with a creamy finish. It's a great nude lipstick for fair to medium skin tones. It has just the right amount of brown in it without going on too dark.
Sugar is a lighter, pinker nude compared to Naked. It also has a creamy finish. I love the delicateness of this shade; it toes the line between being too cool on me and getting it juuuuust right. I'd wear dark eyeshadow and contour with it to balance it out.
Teenage Dream is a frosty pink.
Date Night is a full-bodied, highly pigmented and absolutely gorgeous orchid pink. It's quite cool on my skin tone but it works! The finish is also creamy.
Gossip is a warmer, pinker version of Date Night with less lilac in it. Try this if you have a warmer, deeper skin tone. The finish is creamy.
Free Spirit is a bright coral pink with a satin finish. Asian skin tones can't go wrong with this!
Fancy is a hot pink with a satin finish.
Daydream is a coral red with a frosty finish while Instinct is an orangey red with a satin finish.
Va Va Voom is a creamy, bright blue-based red. Rebel on the other hand is a beautiful deep, vampiric red with something in between a cream and satin finish.
