Three new HGs from Nivea
Nivea is one the best body care brands in my book. Their products combine quality with an affordable price tag, and they perform consistently well over the years. I try so many products but I always repurchase from Nivea! Allow me to share three new faves that I will definitely buy again when I run out.
The Nivea Protect & White SPF50 Cream is a light moisturizer that packs in a punch against the harmful rays of the sun. I think it's for the face but I love using this on my body for days when I play tennis outdoors! I actually like that it comes in a small bottle (a clue that it's for facial use haha) so that's less to think about when I chuck it in my bag. It's not sticky when I sweat and isn't streaky for something with SPF50.
At the Nivea event in Bohol last January, I learned that the best way to gauge the right amount of SPF cream PER LIMB is to squeeze out a line of it starting from the tip of the middle finger down to the bottom of the palm. That's what I've been doing, and hey, it feels good to not be worrying if I'm applying the right amount.
I've said this so many times already but I am a huge, huge fan of the Nivea Body UV Whitening Serum with SP25. This is probably my most re-purchased Nivea product in the last few years! It's a lightweight - and I mean, seriously lightweight - body lotion that hydrates my skin while providing sun protection. Now there's a new version, the Extra White Firming Body Serum, and it has a higher SPF at 33 with Vitamin C and anti-aging in the form of coenzyme Q10 (a powerful antioxidant).
I get the same lightweight feel even with the slightly higher SPF, and it just makes my skin so nice. I've almost finished up this bottle so I will restock soon! This is my everyday body lotion. I use the SPF50 cream when I play sports under the sun.
Finally, I've got to rave about the Nivea Pure Fresh Shower Gel. This smells sooooo good - it has this kilig clean aqua scent that's so sophisticated. A little goes a long way too, and it develops thick, creamy suds with minimal effort. Ever since trying out Lux's body wash, I've been infinitely pickier with what I use in the bath. The Nivea shower gels makes the cut with flying colors! They never dry out my skin, too.
I am also using the Water & Oil Shower Gel for days when I need extra moisture and a more feminine scent. That one smells like lilies. I need to hoard soon! I hear they're limited edition.
So there you go! Do you have new finds from Nivea too?
