Toned and defined in 1-2-3: The Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour
Contour sticks are the easiest to work with whenever I'm in a rush, so I make sure to have one around just in case. Drawing literally four lines and blending them with a sponge or dense brush takes me only a couple of minutes! This convenience is a luxury I never pass up on when I barely have enough time left to slip into my shoes.
I recently got a tube of the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour (P1,400) and I've been pleased with it so far. It's a warm brown color that's easy to create soft shadows around my face with. The formula blends like a dream, and it lasts a good seven hours when topped with a sheer powder.
If you read reviews on it by Caucasians, you'll find that they're unhappy with how warm and bronzy the color is on their skin. For Asians though, I think it's perfect! Too cool contours can end up looking muddy on our yellow and olive skin tones. At first swatch, I had thought that this Clinique contour stick is too warm in tone, but it actually works really well for my NC35 skin as you can see in my FOTD.
I blended it on my jawline and below my cheekbones. It's practically invisible but believe me when I say that my face is not that structured without help. ;)
Overall, I highly recommend the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour if you're looking for something that looks natural on your warm skin tone. It lasts fairly well on my oily-combi skin and blends without much fuss. Love it! If you're quite fair though, with beige undertones, you might want to go for a cooler brown than this.
