Whenever there is an opportunity to talk about Sex and the City, I take it. Okay, I’m underselling myself. I seize the opportunity. I milk it. The casual conversation turns into a podcast. If someone I’m talking to isn’t a fan, then I start my TED Talk to convince the person to watch the show. I just love Sex and the City so much – can you imagine my pleasant surprise when I found out it premiered on my birthday (June 6)?

You know, I can go on and on about why the show is the best. The women (I firmly believe that we all have specific percentages of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha in us), the clothes (Patricia Field is such a genius and icon), the men (Team Big or Aidan?), the many pieces of advice (using oven as storage, for example), and more!

Anyway, to celebrate the show’s 25th birthday and to usher in the second season of And Just Like That, HBO Go has put up a Sex and the City exhibition for everyone to experience! Head to One Bonifacio Open Park, BGC in Taguig and enter the fabulous world of Sex and the City:

Greeting you as you arrive is the And Just Like That block that reminds us of the premier date of season 2 – June 22. I’ve seen the first two episodes and my, the nostalgia! No spoilers, of course, but please feel free to message me or comment if you’ve watched it.

Ah, yes – the iconic brownstone stoop! Make sure to stoop, er, stop by and take a photo! Bonus points if you’re wearing the John Galliano for Dior Newspaper Dress!

You’ll also find the And Just Like That walkway that features the cast of the show! Doesn’t it remind you of The Last Supper? Well, hopefully season 2 won’t be the last.

If you suddenly find yourself hungry, then head over to M Bakery! Order yourself a cupcake – a vanilla one – and transport yourself to season 3 episode 5 of Sex and the City, with Carrie and Miranda.

Finally, enter the Sex and the City Hub, where clothes, shoes, drinks and more await! It’s a pop-up experience you wouldn’t want to miss. I had a Cosmopolitan, of course, and it just felt so fabulous to be surrounded by everything Sex and the City!
