Lip Swatches: New Shades of The Barenbliss Peach Makes Perfect Lip Tint For Q4 2023

One of my favorite lip tint formulas just released six new shades, so I thought I’d swatch everything for you! The Barenbliss Peach Makes Perfect Lip Tint (P399 for 3ml) was released a couple of years ago if I’m not mistaken and has won awards in South Korea and Thailand. I love it because it makes my lips look - for lack of a better term - young! I know, I know, but you’ll get it once you scroll down to my swatches.
Peach Makes Perfect Lip Tint has a finish that’s not merely glossy and shiny. Because of the way the formula hugs the lips and coats them in an even tint, it has a lovely, juicy finish that just looks so fresh. This tint also has a moisturizing finish so I don’t need to layer on a balm underneath - it’s a swipe-and-go type of formula, so much so that I don’t even need to use a mirror when retouching. This is why I like to pack this in when I’m traveling, one for my airplane makeup kit and one for my big check-in kit.
I do wish this has a longer staying power especially after eating and drinking, but three to four hours depending on when you start to drink liquids is a decent enough wear time. Again, it’s really easy to retouch so it’s not a huge problem.

When I swatched 08 Peace Out on the back of my hand, I thought “meh”. It looked too sheer, like it wouldn’t have much on an effect on my lips. But when I actually wore it, it instantly became a fave! It’s subtle, but it gives my lips such a soft wash of peach and a volumized finish. LOVE IT. I also like 10 Stay Classy, a punchy red, and 12 Fly High, a pretty rose that’s great for everyday.
I find 09 Enjoy Today to be the weakest in this batch, because it was a bit patchy. I feel like 11 Fairy Tale can stand out more if there were more beige and mauve in it.
