Urban Decay heard what we had to say!

Is this real life, or is it just a fantasy? Well darlings, I’m not going to ask you to snap out of it. Cosmetic giant and game changer Urban Decay heard the cries of their followers, and is finally giving us what we’ve been craving for: an all matte palette. Yup, you read that right! UD founder Wende Zomnir confirmed that on September 18, the latest addition to the Naked palette family - The Naked Ultimate Basics Palette – will become available in stores. This highly-awaited palette features 11 neutral matte shades, which are perfect for the fall season, and one demi-matte shade for strobing.

Priced at $55, the luxe gold square sports a fresh new look compared to the previous rectangular palettes. With a large built-in mirror and dual ended brush, you can go from simple to sexy in just a few quick strokes. We’re counting on this to have the same buttery texture and great color payoff as their Naked Basics palette.

If you’re more of a lipstick lover though, the brand’s recently launched Vice Lipsticks are going to be part of their holiday collection! There will be new shades of these super creamy and pigmented lippies in bullet form, and the rumored existence of a Vice Lipstick Palette has finally been confirmed. It also looks like there’s even more stuff that we haven’t even heard about yet so stay tuned (and start saving) for more about these stunning stocking stuffers!

Too Faced is just Too Much!

And you thought keeping up with the Kardashians was tough! After last week’s reveals of a new Peach palette and a collab with Kat Von D, Too Faced has given us yet another reason to get giddy. Last August 15 saw the official release of the Too Faced x NikkieTutorials The Power of Makeup Palette. The palette includes nine eyeshadows, two blushes, a bronzer, a highlighter, the Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer, and the famous Better Than Sex mascara! And that’s not all...

Spice up your makeup collection with a Posh touch!

While 90s kids are still hoping for another Spice Girls reunion (will they or won’t they?), one thing we can definitely look forward to is adding a little Posh to our makeup collection. Earlier this year, Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham announced a makeup collaboration with one of PV’s absolute favorite makeup brands, Estée Lauder! The collection will feature 14 key pieces that every posh lady should own, as inspired by the cities of London, New York, Los Angeles and Paris.

Aside from eye shadows, powders, lipsticks and liners, the collection will include a travel-friendly mirror that lights up! Prices range from $30 to a whopping $1,200 for a special box! The limited edition collection officially launches on September 13.

No more excuses for dirty brushes

Sigma is known for their high quality and luxurious brushes and brush sets. They also became (in)famous for the making the brush-cleaning glove: a giant, hot pink plastic that looked like a kitchen accessory, with a price tag that made a lot of eyes bulge. If you’re unwilling to drop $39 for a simple tool, there’s a new brush cleaner in town and it’ll cost you less than $10!

Practk, a sister brand of Sigma Beauty, just launched their Palmat - the cutest, most compact, and easy way to clean your brushes! Made of high-grade silicone, the mat is built to last years of keeping your tools goop-free. It even includes suction cups to anchor it to your sink, and a palm strap to keep it from slipping from your grip. Looks pretty nifty, and we certainly won’t have an excuse from skipping on this weekly chore!
