Beauty Roundup: Star-studded makeup lines, dessert lip glosses, and something new from The Ordinary
How is it the end of May already? The beauty world has been keeping busy, and there's more stuff to look forward to this week! The Queen of Pinoy media has finally revealed her makeup collab with the biggest local makeup brand, while a Victoria’s Secret Angel is coming out with her own cosmetics line. We're also looking forward to tasting, I mean, testing the lip-smackingly good lip glosses from MAC. Amid the drama, The Ordinary has released a not-so-ordinary new offer, and we're thrilled to see some #GirlPower as a woman takes over as CEO of one of the biggest beauty companies in the world!

Kris for our kits!
We've been super excited about this collab since it was announced last February, and now we're finally getting our first look at Kris Aquino's makeup line by Ever Bilena! Both powerhouses in their respective industries, they zeroed in on every Pinay's makeup must-haves: lipstick and brow products! The line currently offers two lip crayons in Life (a rose pink) and Love (a bright red), which retail for P245 each. Kilay addicts, aka pretty much all Filipino beauty lovers, will love the dual-ended brow pencils (P275 each) for being able to both fill sparse areas with the pencil side and keep hairs in place with the mascara side.
The collection is already available on BeautyMNL but is expected to be launched in stores by June.

Anything but ordinary
They've come out with a lot of great actives that have worked wonders for our skin but these potent ingredients can sometimes make use more prone to sun damage. We no longer have to worry about that though because The Ordinary is coming out with the perfect summer buddy - sunscreen! Set to launch some time this month, the brand is coming out with five different sunscreens, in mineral and chemical formulas, plus varying in SPF strengths. There’s no word yet on the price or exact launch date, but we’ll be sure to keep you girls updated!

This #GirlBoss is #goals
Talk about the right step forward! Revlon has just announced that after 86 years in the beauty industry, they’ve appointed their very first female CEO! Debra Perelman (who’s been working for Revlon for 20 years) will be taking over and hopefully be bringing more stability and innovation to the company. Perelman has expressed great interest in growing Revlon market in the U.S. and around the world as well as bringing in more brands and products. We're definitely looking forward to more exciting developments from this beauty superbrand!

How can we not be excited about this?! Gorgeous supermodel and new mommy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is jumping on the makeup bandwagon and coming out with her own makeup line! Her new company, Rose Inc. is focused on bringing “Beauty from the Insider Out.” And judging by the brand new Instagram account, Rose Inc. is filled with pinks, reds, and natural makeup. Rosie, who is known for her fresh, glowing and absolutely flawless complexion, has already worked with Marks & Spencer on a very successful makeup line so fans around the world are super excited for this latest venture! When it comes to epic launches, nobody does it better than MAC Cosmetics. With tons of new lines coming in, there’s lots to be excited about, but this launch, well, it takes the cake!
