Beauty Roundup: New lip products from Clocheflame and Revlon, and a new innovation from Shiseido!
Hello, PV Community! How are you? Will I be seeing you this coming Saturday at 1pm? It’s Project Vanity’s 14th Anniversary and you’re invited! You can get your ticket here, by the way. Looking forward to meeting you! Anyway, time for another round of what’s new in beauty.
Lip musings
We have another Filipino beauty lip product thanks to Clocheflame! The Lip Muse (P399) combines the creamy glide of a lip balm, the nourishing benefits of a lip oil, and the power of a lipstick. There are six shades available – Bellini (peachy salmon), Bunny (neutral pink), Corset (almond nude), First Love (warm rose), Maple (caramel brown) and Poem (berry mauve). Can I just say how much I love the shade name Poem? Imagine wearing a poem on your lips!
Swipe lite
There’s a new member to the Revlon ColorStay family and it’s the Matte Lite Crayon (P625). This effortless crayon is a saturated, matte lipstick that has a comfortable and non-drying formula. Once set, the Matte Lite Crayon is smudge-proof and water-resistant. There are 8 bold yet wearable shades to choose from, and there’s a built-in sharpener! I’ve tried this already and I’m really enjoying it.
The ultimate trio
It’s Shiseido’s 150th Anniversary and there are three limited-edition products that represent the brand’s past, present and future – Liz talked more about them here. What I want to highlight in this week’s beauty roundup is the new product – the Ultimune Future Power Shot (P4,250/15ml), which promises 15x the power of the Ultimune! As someone who loves Ultimune, I am so thrilled for this!
Okay, that’s it for this week. See you next time!
