Beauty Roundup: New local mascara and falsies and, wait, a BBB Cream!?
How’s it going, PV Community? We hope you’re all doing well! As for the beauty industry, it’s doing good - great, even! What makes us say that, you might ask? Well, just take a look at all the latest beauty releases that’s set to make our hearts skip a beat.
Need a lift?
We have a new local mascara thanks to Sunnies Face! The brand recently released Lashlift (P595), an everyday mascara that’s all about lifting and lengthening the lashes. The Lashlift features a dual-sided wand that combs and coats the lashes individually. By the way, taking this mascara off is easy - all you need is water!
Friend or faux?
Strokes Beauty Lab just dropped their newest product called The Faux Magnetic Lashes (P288/each), which is a set of falsies that come in three different styles - Admiral (bold and flirty), Holly (long and wispy), and Meadow (natural, soft glam). Accompanying the release are the Magnetic Liner in Midnight Black (P398) and Lash On Eyelash Applicator (P248). They got us covered!
An essential duo?
Need hydration? Shiseido released the new Essential Energy Hydrating Cream and Essential Energy Hydrating Day Cream SPF 20 PA+++ (P3,450/50ml), which offer twice the hydration when paired with Ultimune. Formulated with hyaluronic acid, these moisturizers promise 24-hour moisture and give a light and airy feel to the skin. Actually, Liz wrote about these moisturizers in-depth here.
What? BBB Cream?
One Size Beauty just introduced the BBB Cream - Beauty Blur Balm ($33)! With white rose stem cells plus avocado and mango hydra-blend, this base product blurs texture, balances oil, and boosts hydration. Of course, because this brand is by Patrick Starr, so they made sure that there are 18 different shades.
Okay, that’s it for this week. See you next time!
