Beauty Roundup: Happy Skin’s Second Skin line, new Shiseido Ultimune, Maybelline’s new Fit Me, and more!
Can you believe that another week has passed? Yes, it’s Friday again and you know what that means - it’s time for another beauty roundup! For this week, it’s all about Happy Skin’s Second Skin line, Shiseido’s new Ultimune, Maybelline’s new Fit Me Powder Powder Foundation, customizable eyeshadows from Hourglass, and a KKW Beauty rebrand!
Second time around
Following the release of their Serum Cushion Foundation, Happy Skin dropped more products in their Second Skin line, which is the brand’s serum-powered makeup collection that blurs the line between skincare and makeup.
New to the Second Skin line are the Multi-Tasking Serum Concealer (P599) in Light Beige and Soft Beige, Dual-Ended Serum Brow Mascara (P599) in Taupe and Natural Brown, Lengthening Serum Mascara (P649), and Tinted Lip Treatment Oil (P499) in Daily Dose (pink mauve), Reset (mauve), Unwind (nude brown), and Rosé (blush).
The ultimate Ultimune
Highlighting their message of healthy vibrant skin, Shiseido introduced the new Ultimune, which makes the skin more radiant, resilient. The new Ultimune is powered by Lifeblood Research™, a new beauty science that takes advantage of the life force in each of us.
The new Ultimune’s ImuGenerationRED Technology™ is said to strengthen skin’s inner defensive powers, regardless of age, ethnicity, or skin type. Furthermore, it generates a continuous inner defense boost into every part of the skin, renewing beauty with every heartbeat.
The perfect fit for oily skin
In case you missed it, Maybelline recently released their new Fit Me 24HR Oil Control Powder Foundation. With 2x powder power, the new Fit Me Powder Foundation has more oil control to help prevent mask acne and SPF44 PA++++ for sun protection. It’s dermatologically-tested, non-comedogenic, and has a matte finish. You also have 8 different shades to choose from!
Collect and curate
Hourglass Cosmetics introduced their newest eyeshadow collection called Curator. Customizable and vegan, the collection has a range of 40 shades and features 4 different finishes in refillable packaging. Championing waste reduction, the Hourglass Curator palettes (one-pan, three-pan, and five-pan) are crafted from tin and PCR plastic.
Just curious, do you prefer customizable eyeshadow palettes?
Kim Kardashian, what?
KKW Beauty announced a message from Kim Kardashian, on Instagram, that they will be shutting down the kkwbeauty.com website this coming August 1 at midnight. She teased a new brand with new formulas that are more modern and innovative. We should also expect elevated and sustainable packaging.
So both Kylie Cosmetics and KKW Beauty are undergoing a major rebrand. Are you excited?
Okay, that’s it for this week! See you again next Friday!
