Hydration in a foundation
If you’ve stepped outside lately, you know that this summer is BEYOND scorching. With the heat index reaching new highs of 42 and up (helppppp) it’s important to make sure that aside from piling on the SPF, you have makeup that not only lasts, but also takes care of your skin. Which is why The Body Shop’s new foundation is perfect for those who are not only looking for a flawless base, but for ultimate hydration and protection from the sun! Infused with rose water and aloe vera, the Fresh Nude Foundation (P1,295) is your new BFF. With 10 shades, SPF15, a dewy finish, and the promise of 24-hour moisture, we’re running to the nearest Body Shop store to try this out!
I have a pen, I have a pineapple serum
Okay, that might not have been my best title as of this year, but I can’t help but sing along! After gaining huge popularity with their famous Watermelon Sleeping Mask ($45), Korean skincare brand Glow Recipe has launched a new summer-must have: the Pineapple C-Bright Serum ($49)! Formulated with actual pineapple, vitamin C, and other amazing ingredients, this glow-boosting serum aims to target and treat dark spots, even out skin tone, and lighten and correct hyperpigmentation. Something tells us Spongebob would love this product, too! (Okay, I promise that’s the last one.) Shop Glow Recipe here.

Transfixed on you
Another day, another epic drop. ICYMI, Natasha Denona just announced the launch of their newest baby - the Transfix Matte Concealer ($28). The medium to full coverage concealer is not only matte, crease-proof, long-wearing, and transfer-proof, but it’s also infused with anti-aging ingredients like hyaluronic acid and collagen to make this basically the only concealer you will ever need. Available in 23 shades in several undertones, this may just be the perfect product to test out this summer. No word yet on the exact release date but you can shop Natasha Denona on Sephora PH here.

Thank u, next
Talk about a dream come true! It’s been a couple months since Ariana Grande’s hit song “Thank U, Next” topped the charts and been played millions and millions of times (I have greatly contributed to this part). Now we can expect the “breakup anthem” in the form of beauty products! Oh yes!
According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Ariana Grande filed for a trademark on “Ariana Grande Thank U, Next.” Under the said patent are several beauty products, fragrances, body lotions, bath gels, body scrubs, and body mists. Without any other information as of this writing, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what Miss Grande has in store for all of us. But don’t worry, we’ll let you know when it’s time to breakup with your makeup, cause we know you’re bored. ;)
