Last September 15th, Ever Bilena broke the internet when they launched the EB Pro Blush Palette (P325). Available in two colorways, each palette contains four (4) carefully curated shades of silky, vitamin E-infused powder blushes. Guess what? It sold out online, in one day! I totally understand, because who can resist getting four blushes in one product for less than P500?

The EB Pro Blush Palette in After Glow, considered the ‘bright’ palette, has four (4) shades: brick peachy pink, rosy pink, terracotta brown, and bright coral. Those who prefer more subtle, muted shades might like Pastel, with mauve pink, muted coral, warm brown, and natural rouge pink shades.

On September 11th, homegrown brand Blk Cosmetics teased on social media, “Something 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦 and 𝘶𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 is coming.” On September 17th, the Invisible Matte Gel Powder (P599) made its debut online, along with rave reviews from influencers who got early dibs. The product name may at first sound confusing, but early reviewers agree: it lives up to its name! It mattifies the skin without leaving a trace, before or after makeup. It also blurs pores and has skin-caring ingredients like Niacinamide.

Simply dab on the product with the included puff, and reveal mattified skin! I love how this is such a no-brainer product that would work for everyone–no more worries about horrible shade matches (as with typical powders). It can also be used both as a mattifying primer and a touch-up powder. The downside: it is currently sold out online at the blk website and brand official stores at Shopee and Lazada. I hope I can get my hands on it on my next trip to Watsons or the department store!
