Buying into the hype
Congratulations are in order for Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc.! The company just purchased a 20% stake in one of our favorite online beauty sites, BeautyMNL and things are about to get pretty exciting. With these new joining of forces, the retail giant and online cosmetics site are looking to further expand their lineup of products and offers. With already over 13,000 items on their site, we're hoping that this partnership will bring in the beauty brands we'd been waiting for, and possibly even have the option of shopping at a physical store! The future is looking absolutely bright (and sparkly) for BeautyMNL so make sure to keep an eye out for announcements!

Following the successful launch of her Stunna Lip Paint, Rihanna still isn’t done with the holiday surprises. Now officially confirmed by the brand, Fenty Beauty is launching 14 matte lipsticks brilliantly called Mattemoiselle! Purely matte and set to drop on December 26, Fenty fans can expect lippies with high pigmentation, smooth application, and killer colors. From reds to browns, pinks, and even a shocking purple and deep blue, these lipsticks are set to give you that bold pout just in time to ring in the New Year! No word yet on the official price or shade names but knowing our gal RiRi, more teasers will be on their way online!

Remember when we happily reported about the Silver Series brush collection of Kylie Cosmetics? How tons of people online were not only excited for the new bits, but were also all-out supportive? Well, Kylie teased yet another addition to the Silver Series but fans are not having it! The 20-year-old makeup mogul's Silver Series Brush Collection may look absolutely beautiful but the price tag is turning people off. Ranging from $16 to $48 per brush, the 16-piece brush collection is turning out to be a no-no for most Christmas lists as you would have to shell out a whopping $360 for the entire brush collection!
Although Kylie herself came to the defense of her brush prices, most of the beauty world were disappointed at how high the price tags were, especially since Kylie’s general audience are young makeup fans on limited budgets.
