A peek into Bobbi Brown's new lippie formulas + their chic Megamall store

Bobbi Brown is your best bet when it comes to high quality neutrals and classic looks. We’ve done a lot of rave reviews about their products, including their Luxe Lip Colors which remain a favorite even to this day. One would think that 30 satin shades is a good number to pick from, but these tubes are so successful that Bobbi Brown added three more lines under the House of Luxe Lip Color!

Encased in the same gold bullet case is the Luxe Lip Matte Lipstick (P1,850). They’re powdery but oil-infused to keep lips moisturized and comfortable. Pigmentation is so good that application is opaque in one swipe! They also give a pretty stain, which is rare for a bullet lipstick. These are available in 18 shades ranging from nudes to reds.

Bobbi Brown also created liquid lipsticks in two different finishes: the Luxe Lip Velvet Matte and the Luxe Lip Liquid High Shine (both P1,850). Both formulas are highly pigmented and glide on smoothly. The Luxe Velvet Matte initially looks satin-y, but eventually settles into a more matte finish. It’s non-drying though because it contains mango butter to help keep lips nourished.

I’m currently loving the Liquid High Shine formula because it has the shine of a lip gloss and the pigmentation of a lipstick! It’s not easy to find such a combination. Like the Luxe Lip Velvet Matte, High Shine amazingly has great staining power as well. Each finish is available in nine shades each.

With these new formulas and shades, the House of Luxe Lip Color comes to a total of 64 shades. All of the lipsticks have the Bobbi Brown logo engraved at the top, which gives the tubes a truly premium look. They are priced at P1,850 each.
