The coverage of this 329-peso concealer is intense

It's easy to find cheap but amazing drugstore products in the eye, lip, and cheek makeup categories. Affordable foundations are getting better and better with each release but most of the time concealers are left behind! I haven't really found a drugstore concealer that has the fantastic shade match, longevity, and blendability of its expensive counterparts. Yes, a few cheap concealers will have one or two but never all three at the same time.

That is, until I came upon the Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer (P329 in Watsons) a couple of months ago.

I first tried to use this German-made concealer to cover up blemishes, and I think it does well, but it shines best when used to delete eye bags. Delete is the best word for it. It hides the darkness and wrinkles so seamlessly with only a small amount of product! The coverage is heavy but it doesn't look thick when blended properly. It has a creamy consistency which seems to melt upon contact on the skin - just perfect for concealing those pesky circles!

The staying power is remarkable - it barely fades on me even when I've got it on all day, even when I play tennis. It creases easily though. Setting it with powder doesn't make much of a difference there. That's weird but the problem is easy enough to fix by blending the Camouflage Cream back in place with a (clean) finger or brush of your choice.

One swipe from the jar is enough to cover one eye. Do use it sparingly to keep it from looking cakey! If you don't have serious eye bags, I would even go so far as to recommend a lighter (perhaps liquid) concealer since this Catrice cream will be waaaaayyyy too pigmented.

Looks great, yes? If you're looking for a cheap concealer that can hide the most killjoy of eye bags, you will not regret getting the Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer. It's just sooo good! I hear it's always out of stock though, so I recommend being chummy with the Catrice sales ladies to tell you when they're restocking. ;)

Have you tried this? What's your current under eye concealer?

Catrice Cosmetics is available in Watsons and SM Beauty Stores.
