Six products under 300 pesos that you need to try from EB Advance, STAT

This story is brought to you by EB Advance.

Do you have to pay a lot of money for good makeup? Well, if you asked me this seven years ago, I’d have to give you the bad news and say that yes you do, most of the time. There were such limited options back then from local brands, and imported brands cost a pretty penny - even affordable ones required international shipping and taxes factored in the price. But now, there are so, so many amazing products available in the home front! It’s good because it empowers Filipinas with the beauty equipment they need to conquer their day with confidence - no matter the budget!

One of the local brands that’s bringing their A game these days is EB Advance. A sub-brand of Ever Bilena, EB Advance aims to provide pro-level makeup at a friendly price. You’ll be surprised by how well their products perform while just being under 300 pesos! Here are some of my favorites from the brand.

The EB Advance Eye Define Matic Eyeliner (P175) is super black and impressively water-resistant. It’s smooth and buttery on the lids, so you don’t get skid marks during the application. I love this stuff! I can wear this all day even on the waterline; this can definitely also be used for tight-lining. My only complaint is that it has a fat tip so I have to be extra careful with the application. Otherwise though, it’s an excellent eyeliner!

Another fave of mine from EB Advance is the Brow Define Waterproof Brow Matic Liner (P135). Can’t believe the price really! This is smooth and comes in two excellent (albeit similar) shades. I haven’t tested for how waterproof it is, but I can tell you that it pretty much stays all day until I take it off. Love how easy it is to apply and perfect - I never need to spend a lot of time on my kilay with this one. I just with it comes with a spoolie though.

The EB Advance Eyeconic 6 Shades Eye Shadow (P175) packs a punch in terms of pigmentation and color selection. There are four palettes right now, all of which have neutral shade selections, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with these. Mixed Metals, a sunset-themed palette, and Minimalist, an all-matte eye contour palette, are must-haves for me! These can be powdery and some pans can be patchy, so always wear an eyeshadow primer with these.

The EB Advance Lip & Cheek Stain (P165) is already a cult classic at this point. This has been around for ages, even while I was in high school! I remember this used to come in just one shade, but now it has expanded to four wearable and easy to blend colors. My favorite is Fresh Fig since it has a brown pink undertone to it that makes it great as everyday blush. As a stain, it doesn’t quite cover my lips entirely, but I rarely personally like lip stain anyway. I prefer to use this mostly as a blush.

The EB Advance LTD Liquid Lipstick (P180) comes in several shades you can’t go wrong with. I like that it doesn’t have a thick uncomfortable texture for a matte lipstick; it keeps a light feel to it during the day. It won’t survive a meal but it doesn’t transfer heavily to drinks. I’d say this stays for 3-4 hours, which is pretty good for the price. My top shade picks would be Cashmere Blush, Skinny Dip, and Red Carpet!

The EB Advance Glow Out Highlighter (P299) is one of the pricier products in the line, but it does deliver an ultra-shiny highlight if that’s your pot of jam. A small amount goes a long way with this one; it has a cream-powder feel to it when touched. It delivers a fine shimmer that never looks glittery.

Here’s a look I did with my EB Advance picks! The eyebrows are on fleek - the shade I used here is Slate. The eyeshadow palette in Jackpot is a great everyday neutral selection (contrasted with the EB Advance eyeliner), while the LTD Lipstick in Cashmere Blush is just stunning. Baked Fig is my blush here!

Hope you enjoyed my capsule reviews! Let me know what you think, as always. You can purchase EB Advance products over at Lazada and in malls nationwide.
