Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair: What's New and Worth Trying

I'm a big fan of Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum and have been loving it again lately. It's definitely on the pricey side, but it really does deliver, which other PV writers have also confirmed. But here's something you might not know: Advanced Night Repair is actually a whole product line by Estée Lauder! Beyond the iconic ANR serum, there are other fantastic Advanced Night Repair skincare products, like the Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix and the new Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution.

The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix (P5,800 for 15ml at Lazada) is a gem for targeting lines and wrinkles around the eye area, including those pesky lines between the brows. While it's not a new product, it certainly deserves more love and attention! Liz shared her initial impressions on the Eye Concentrate Matrix previously, highlighting its impressive features. The product boasts a 360° Mesh Matrix that reduces the impact of micro-movements, preventing new lines from forming, and the Chronolux™ Power Signal Technology that enhances visible repair. Plus, the Cryo-steel Wand Applicator is a game-changer, helping to depuff the undereye area with its contoured tip that cools the skin by nearly 2°C. It's a super convenient product, especially in the morning. A quick sweep of the applicator under the eyes, on the forehead, and even on laugh lines helps prep the skin beautifully for makeup.

On the other hand, the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution with Bifidus Ferment (P5,150 for 20ml at Lazada) is a new addition that I was excited to try. It addresses my top skin concern: visible redness. The serum's standout ingredient, 15% Bifidus Ferment, is key to soothing the skin and reinforcing the skin barrier. In consumer tests, those who had their skin irritated by a 50% glycolic acid peel experienced an impressive "81% redness reduction one hour after the glycolic acid peel." The formula is also free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, phthalates, and other potentially irritating ingredients, making it suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.

This lightweight serum is designed for both morning and evening use, either on its own or as a pre-serum before the ANR Serum. I've tried both methods, and it works well either way. When used alone, it practically disappears into the skin, and I can see how its texture helps prevent redness. Unlike other serums that have a heavier feel, the Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution absorbs quickly and doesn’t irritate my skin. When layering with the ANR Serum, I tend to do this when my skin looks tired and irritated. The Rescue Solution provides a great base for the ANR Serum, and together, they calm and restore a healthy glow to my skin. Don't be misled by the name "Advanced Night Repair"! These serums work beautifully under makeup, during the day, and many makeup artists use them for base prep.

Aside from the new Rescue Solution, Estée Lauder has given us another reason to look forward to new ANR developments: they recently announced their new Global Brand Ambassador IU, who fondly recalls the signature brown bottle during one of their Q&A Series. Check out her feature here.

If the ANR line and IU has convinced you to give Estée Lauder a try, shop from home at the Lazada Flagship Store or Rustan's Online or visit them offline by locating the store nearest to you.
