How to get the look: Girl Boss Glam
The girl boss is goal-driven and in control of her life. She's not a stereotype - she is anything she chooses to be, and doesn't let what others think stop her from achieving her dreams. She knows how to have fun but she also knows how to roll her sleeves up and get to work.
That's what I had in mind when we conceptualized the Girl Boss Glam Kit (P1,250 for P3,600 worth of items), officially out in The Store today! The look diverges from your typical workplace makeup to reflect a more spunky, go-getter attitude. The colors used are also chosen with a brightening effect in mind, as most offices (if you work in one) have bad lighting that dulls down the skin.
We made a video with our fave model, Marish, to show you how we did the Girl Boss Glam look!
We maximized all the products in the Project Vanity Kit to achieve this happy, inspired face. Marish applied the Origins Smarty Plants CC Cream to immediately brighten her skin and to protect it from the sun (it has SPF20). Noticed how her complexion looked more even in one layer? Then, she shaded and smoothened her brows with the Inglot Brow Wax* using an angled eyebrow brush. This shade is universal enough to suit all brunette hues.
Then, she enhanced her upper lids with a subtle green color (Watermelon) from the Happy Skin Eye Candy Set. Colored liner is a great way to bring that pop to the eyes without using eyeshadow; you can cut the time you set aside your eye makeup! To brighten her waterline, Marish applied Butterscotch. It's a nifty trick to hide tiredness from late nights.
Lashes are always a focus, so we're glad that Revlon is launching their latest mascara with us in this kit! The Revlon All-In-One Mascara is a hard worker, just like you. In only a couple of coats it can make your lashes look blacker, longer, and thicker. See how quickly it transformed Marish's lashes in the video!
Of course, we want skin to look healthy and flushed. Pink Sugar's Sweet Cheeks Blush in Tokyo Rush is a happy pop of pink that sticks to the skin all day. Use it sparingly and watch your complexion wake up instantly. To finish the look, we've got the Sleek True Color Lipstick in Barely There for pretty, moisturized lips. We love this shade as it is brightening and flattering on Pinay skin.
