Hello Glow Blemish Miracle Set: A 4-step routine with AHA and BHA

Hello Glow is back with another skincare set! As I said in my previous review of their Acne Defense Set, these kits are fantastic for those who are skincare beginners on a tight budget. It’s just so much more convenient to have everything as a set, and in a travel-friendly size at that for those constantly on the go.
The Hello Glow Blemish Miracle Set (P275) contains four products that aim to exfoliate and brighten skin with acids. It has an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) in the form of citric acid, and Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) in the form of salicylic acid. If you’re wondering what’s different between this and their Acne Defense Set, the Blemish Miracle has a higher concentration of salicylic acid and of course has that boost of AHA for deeper exfoliation.
The four step routine is as follows: start with the Miracle Clear Skin Cleanser to wash off dirt and oil, then follow with the Miracle Pore Control Toner. The toner is quite gentle as it’s alcohol-free and pH-balanced! Then, follow it with the Acne Corrector Serum, which can be applied directly on the affected area (with blackheads and white heads) or all over the skin. Finally, the routine is finished with the Miracle Acne Calming Cream, which can also be used either as a spot calming product or as an overall gel moisturizer.
As with all Hello Glow products, these are lightweight and great for combination to oily skin types. Those with dry skin will need something heavier and more nourishing! The gel textures are non-tacky and easily absorbed, so they’re quite comfortable on skin.
I also have to mention that these formulations have fragrance, but it’s a light touch; not at all intense. I appreciate that about all Hello Glow products! I used to be against all fragrance but honestly it’s just more pleasant to have a little scent. Besides, the fragrance content is very low in formulations. Less than 1%, really.
I recommend the Hello Glow Blemish Miracle Set to people who have oily skin prone to whiteheads and blackheads, as well as clogged pores. It’s a great starter set, and again, at P275 for four products you get a lot of value! I do wish that Hello Glow would have some of these in full size, especially for those who find daily favorites in the sets.
