You need to try the new In Her Element Glow Job 5% Glycolic Gel Cream

Dark spots have always been my #1 arch nemesis. Even well into my adulthood, I'm still prone to pimples that leave nasty marks on my face for months. This year though was the year that I got into acid exfoliators in skincare. I must admit that I used to prefer physical exfoliators, but because of acid-lovers in the Project Vanity Team, I was finally convinced! Acids turn over skin faster compared to physical exfoliators. Blemishes that takes months to fade considerably can have a shorter lifespan.

The acids that I've been using though are pretty expensive, so as usual, I had to find a way to make my favorite high-end products more affordable. That's why we created the latest product from In Her Element: the Glow Job 5% Glycolic Gel Cream (P775 for 30ml at inherelement.ph).

This is an exfoliating product that contains 5% glycolic acid, which is gentle enough for skin that is not used to stronger acids but powerful enough to get the benefits of AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids). We chose glycolic acid because it is able to penetrate skin deeper for better exfoliation, plus it's one of the top acids that dermatologists recommend (according to our chemist).

If you have blemishes and clogged pores, the Glow Job can take care of it. I've been using this for pretty much half a year already and I love the results! There is a slight sting at first if you're a newbie to acids, but this disappears in a minute or so. Apply a pea-sized amount once a week (if your skin is not used to acids yet) and move up to two times a week at night. We also recommend using our best-selling Pure Squalane Facial Oil (P445) on top to for a more soothing and moisturizing effect. Don't forget to always use sunscreen in the day time if you're on an acid routine!

The formulation also contains shea butter, jojoba oil, and sunflower oil so that it doesn't feel drying compared to other acids in the market. These ingredients also add to the skin's natural glow.

And here is the photo proof of the power of acids: I used the IHE Glow Job along with the La Mer The Brilliance White Mask and Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial for six weeks to heal a massive breakout on my chin. I was so stressed about this particular breakout - so much that my self-confidence really took a blow. While the blemishes still remain today, their size and darkness are considerably decreased with the regular use of acids (about once a week with Glow Job, once a week with the La Mer, and once every 2-3 weeks with Drunk Elephant).

You can actually observe the fading of my blemishes on my Facebook live videos, which I publish about 2-3 times a week.

I need to mention that the Glow Job is absolutely fragrance-free, so expect a mild acidic scent when you apply it. We don't like to add fragrance to In Her Element products because they may irritate skin; plus, in the greater scheme of things, they don't aid the efficacy of the formulation in any way. This is also paraben-free and of course cruelty-free.

And that's it! I hope you can try out our latest product soon! Let me know what you think, as always. ^_^ The In Her Element Glow Job is available for P775 at inherelement.ph. We will be rolling this out to Beauty Bar stores and BeautyMNL.com in the coming weeks.
