Swatches: The Inglot What A Spice Collection's new sultry shades

New lipsticks excite me like no other, and 2016 certainly did not disappoint in that department. Brands have been bringing out the big guns with celebrity collabs like Cover Girl’s with Katy Perry, Laneige’s cute collection with fashion brand Lucky Chouette, and of course, our personal favorite, Pink Sugar x Project Vanity These Lips Don’t Lie lip crayons. If you’re a big fan of liquid lipsticks, you’ll definitely want to try the newest releases from a brand with one of the best liquid lipsticks we’ve tried – Inglot.

Inglot is best known (and well-loved!) for their clever Freedom System Palette but we’ve also been enjoying their top 3 matte lipstick picks which included the Inglot Lipstick Matte, the Inglot AMC Lip Pencil Matte, and the Inglot HD Lip Tint Matte. I’ve honestly fallen in love with their lippies so when I heard that they were launching a 15-piece collection that’s all about the lips, I was only too excited to troop over to Trinoma and have myself a swatch party with their What A Spice Collection!

First up are the five new What A Spice Colour Play Lipliners (P995 each). These are so creamy and pigmented, they just glided on my arm upon swatching! The shades - cool neutrals, deep wines, and browns - go perfectly with the new HD Lip Tints and their original Freedom System Matte Lipsticks.

The stars of the collection however are the 10 new shades of the Inglot HD Lip Tint Mattes (P1,150 each). They have brooding pastels, which we have all been loving lately, and a punchy deep red that will spice up our look just so. They also have the on-trend deep browns and wines.

Have I mentioned how smoothly these shades swatch? You can easily swipe them on and head out the door! The formula is also infused with HD pigments to make sure that your pout is photogenic no matter what your lighting situation is.

While they did not offer any moisture on my perpetually dry lips, as expected from most liquid lipsticks, the Inglot HD Lip Tint Mattes were comfortable to wear and lasted for quite a while. I had dinner with oily fish and chips after swatching, and only the color at the center of the lips budged ever so slightly!

Have you tried any of Inglot’s awesome liquid lippies? What do you think of the new shades?
