Swatches + Review: The Kylie Lip Kit is more than just lipstick

When the Kylie Lip Kits came out and mass hysteria broke out in the beauty world, I didn't think I would be one of the fortunate few (at least here in the PH) who would be able to try a kit. I was at peace with that fact and contented myself with just seeing other people's swatches online. I mean, while the Kylie lippies looked pretty and seemed to perform well enough, there are many more things to covet for the not-so-mean price of 30 dollars or at least P2,500 locally from resellers.

But that's not the point, is it? The Kylie kit isn't just about makeup. It's a status symbol, treading that fine line between exclusive and affordable. It's not too expensive considering you get two products, but it's not cheap either. Everybody wants one. Enough is made so that not everybody who wants one gets one.

Kylie Jenner knows what she's doing to us but we still swipe it on - hook, liner, and liquid lipstick.

But enough about marketing tactics. Here's what I think of the Kylie Lip Kits which @bebangonlinestore on Instagram kindly sent over!
