The One Wash Wonder is finally unveiled: It's the Olay Skin Whitening Bar

There was no shortage of mystery when we were presented with the invitation to the One Wash Wonder reveal. It took weeks of clever teasers to get the public intrigued, and it totally worked! The clues so far hinted at a bath product, but was it going to be a face wash, a feminine wash, or a soap?

The Project Vanity team members had their own guesses, which is why we were excited to see what was in store for us at the trendy Vask Tapas Room last April 19.

Straight out of the elevator and to the hallway leading up to the venue proper, attendees immediately got a feel of the transformation theme of the event. The fabrics draped over the ceiling of the hall started out with a dreary dark gray color that gradually lightened to a snowy white setup bathed in pink and purple light. Inside, the space was decked out in scattered flower petals and huge decorative roses. Special rose- and milk-themed drinks and desserts, in addition to sumptuous Spanish dishes, added a gourmet twist to the evening.

When it came time for the big reveal, radio DJ and host Karla Aguas shared a few words before an enormous box of soap rose up from the stage. It’s the new Olay Skin Whitening Bar line!

The three-variant collection, featuring Rose & Milk, Papaya, and Vitamin C, was created with gentle skin brightening in mind. This line is Olay’s answer to those who’ve resorted to drastic methods for skin lightening and had to go through tiis ganda to achieve their desired fairness. These dermatologically- and clinically-tested multi-purpose bath bars serve as a mild exfoliator that can brighten and even out skin tone. They claim 90% of the active ingredient in Olay’s Natural White Day Cream can also be found here, so you can thoroughly pamper your body and face to achieve  radiant skin all over.

Model and beauty queen Valerie Weigmann shared how convenient it is to have the Olay Skin Whitening Bar help her maintain her glowing skin. For times when the great outdoors can cause uneven skintone, this gentle lightening bar can help restore radiance from first use without adding to the sun damage through harsh chemical ingredients. That’s why it’s been dubbed as a One Wash Wonder!
