Beauty products we just finished up
There is a lot to be said about products that we use up. Sometimes we are so underwhelmed by its performance that we cannot wait to get rid of it. But most of the time, we use up products because we love them, because they are a joy to use. They are so ingrained in our daily routine that we go through them so quickly. It can be an exhilarating feeling to use up a product, especially when you own so much!

Katsy: I’m finally done with one cushion of the Laneige BB Cushion Compact. If I didn’t intentionally slow down in using this to make it last longer, I would have finished months ago. I love the coverage and the high SPF, plus it gives you that dewy and glowing Korean idol skin. Bonus points also for the extra cushion that comes with each purchase!
Marielle: I went through a bottle of The Body Shop’s Frosted Cranberry Shimmer Lotion over the holidays. I have a thing for going shimmery during the Christmas season, probably because it makes me feel extra excited about the holidays.

Kim: I normally finish all of my skincare products, unless it’s something so horrible and it breaks me out, then I’ll give it away to someone whose skin agrees with it more. Right now I’m almost out of my Avene Gentle Toner and Bifesta Sebum Cleansing Lotion. The Avene Toner is marketed for dry skin, but I do love how it gently cleans and balances my oily skin. My face would always feel baby smooth after I tone. I also noticed a slight pore tightening effect! The Bifesta Sebum Cleansing Lotion, on the other hand, is the second one I’ve tried from the line. I’ve already tried the Age Care variant (it was the only type available at the time) and I’m looking to purchase the Bright Up variant next!

Den: I snapped up a pack of Tony Moly Shiny Foot Super Peeling Liquid when I saw it on sale. It’s a foot peeling mask similar to Baby Foot, which uses AHA and BHA to slough off old skin layers. Though my husband was spooked by the giant flakes of skin during the peeling period, I love how much softer and smoother my skin became! It may seem pricey at P500+ per use but since you only use it once a month, it actually comes out cheaper (and more effective) than weekly foot spas.
I also had a mini panic attack when my favorite Tony Moly Lovely Eye Brow Pencil in 03 ran out! The shade I like is the most popular so I was lucky to find a replacement quickly. Will definitely be hoarding this next time I find more stocks!

Liz: This month I finished my fave contact lens solution, Re-Nu by Bausch + Lomb. I love it because it keeps my contacts from drying out too quickly! It’s a bit more expensive at around P300 but I don’t mind paying extra for the comfort.
I also just finished my favorite sunscreen, the Biore Aqua Rich huhu. Need to drop by Watsons soon to replenish!
Stacie: I finished up the 3W Clinic Natural Makeup Powder, which is a setting powder with slight shimmer, and Etude House Face Color Corset in Tight Shading Corset which is a buildable contour powder. I was also able to empty a huge 500mL bottle of Etude House’s Wonder Pore Freshner.

Kathleen: This month, I was able to use up my 200mL tub of The Body Shop’s Glazed Apple Body Butter. I go through TBS Body Butters pretty quickly! I love Glazed Apple so much, I am slightly heartbroken that it’s limited edition. It is probably my favorite Body Butter scent ever. I also finished a stick of Etude House Drawing Eyebrow in 02. I have 3 backups because it is cheap and the 02 shade goes out of stock a lot.
