Staff Picks: How much does our daily look cost?
You've seen our #shelfies, compared notes with our beauty budgets, and even rummaged through our kikay kits! This time, the PV girls took on a different kind of challenge: putting a price tag on our daily faces. While each one of us are probably guilty of owning a makeup horde, the fact is: we often still end up using the same things everyday! So we decided to add up the prices of our makeup staples to find out how much our daily looks actually cost. How about yours?
Den: I'm often in a rush during those rare times I get to wear makeup, so I usually reach for the same things. It's not very adventurous or imaginative but it works for my preferred no-makeup makeup look. Mine might seem like the most sparse kit but that's only because my focus is primarily on skincare - that alone would take me 30 minutes to put on!

Charlie: I didn’t realize how many products I actually put on every day until I laid them all out, and I was pretty shocked because I usually do my makeup plus skincare in only a few minutes. I feel like I power through every morning to put all these on, but I like it still. Putting on makeup and spending as much as I do is worth it because it makes me happy! I feel also like I’ve cheated a bit with this computation as almost all of these items were purchased on sale or gifted to me. Most are also pretty versatile, such as the Tony Moly Cristal Blusher that I use as a lid wash and the Essence eye shadow that I actually use as a highlighting powder.

Gett: Even if I have a desk job that doesn't require me to face clients, I like putting on makeup because it makes me feel like I'm ready to take on anything! Crystal: I realize that I spend a hefty amount on makeup but that's okay because I enjoy putting makeup every morning. I don't use eyebrow powder and mascara for now because I recently had a keratin lash lift and got my eyebrows microbladed, so my routine is a tad shortened in the morning. I don't use an undereye concealer, either. I also sometimes like to use highlighters as a lid wash.

Tellie: After taking into account everything I use (after sunscreen) for my daily face, it was a little shocking to realize how much it all piles up! But I don't beat myself up about it because it's not as if I l spent that cash every single day. Makeup lasts for one month minimum and so it doesn't really cost that much over its lifespan - I sound like an addict, haha! I've long accepted that makeup is my "vice." Really, I'd rather spend on makeup than bags or clothes. And I'd rather be addicted to makeup than something destructive!
