FOTD + OOTD: Poised
I feel at my best in shift dresses and soft makeup. I like to try new things, of course, but I always come back to this combination when I want to feel pretty and confident. I guess I can call this my trademark style!

So, my advice to young women is this: keep a shift dress (or ten!) on hand for whenever you want to look all poised and ladylike. SM carries SO MANY nice shifts, but I also like rummaging in Celine and Forever 21. Take this draped shift for example - it's one of my best finds.
Yes, contrary to popular belief, Forever 21 also carries a lot of classy stuff. :P Anyway, here's the makeup I wore with it! I decided to go with soft eyes - meaning no harsh lines or too thick lashes.
Shades of gray
You know those days when you've tried every single outfit you can think of and still end up unhappy with the results? May be your mood, may be the pre-period bloating, may be a nasty offhand comment someone gave you. In any case you just stop trying. When I have those days, this is my go-to dress.

Check out the necklace I wore! Bought it from the Rob Midtown Department Store for only P139. More details after the jump.

I've had this dress for a couple of months now. I love it to bits, but I'm too chicken to wear it out in public! It's a bright lime color so I'm afraid that I might be stared at - in a bad way. Lol. I like how it looks on me though since I'm light enough to not look that ridiculous in it. Where did I get it you ask? It's thrifted! It was supposed to be up at Ukay Manila.
I love the classic cut and the detail on the neckline
