Current go-to scent: The Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Bleue

Beautiful fragrances need not be flashy and dramatic. The newest Tory Burch perfume to arrive in the Philippines drives this point home, as it nuances the skin with fresh notes of crisp grapefruit, creamy sandalwood, and earthy vetiver combined with the sweetness of tuberose.

This is a bright scent that reminds one of an early-morning walk in a garden. It is indeed inspired by Tory Burch's own backyard blooms, so her clean yet elegant taste really shows through! I love how the airy floral top scents perk up the mood and then later warm up to become a green, woody glow.

The staying power of this eau de perfum on me is quite good. It stays on for 8-10 hours, and has a sillage (the trail) that is striking but not overwhelming to the nose.

The packaging is gorgeous, featuring a clear glass flaccon with a topper modeled in Tory Burch's signature fretwork. The box is so simple yet so beautiful! It's in such a chic blue shade that I want to keep if only to look at.

Overall, I highly recommend the Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Bleue if you love understated and elegant scents. It's simple and complex at the same time, just enough to make anybody wonder what it is you're wearing. ;) It's my current fave scent! Definitely a keeper, if you ask me.
