Drugstore find: Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo

Sup guys! How was your Christmas? I'm back from vacation mode and will be updating regularly again. So. Let's start the week with a great find of mine: the Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo (P399)! I grabbed this in Watsons a few months ago, left it in my bathroom, and totally forgot about it until the tail end of November.

You know how I dislike trying out new shampoos because I tend to break out from them? You know how I'm also not that into organic products normally? That's why. But this one is pretty good and does what it promises!

This shampoo features Biotin B-Complex and Vitamain E which are supposed to help thicken hair. I have very fine locks prone to hair fall so this sounded perfect for me at first glance. I flipped to the back for ingredients and they checked out - this shampoo is filled with fruit/ plant extracts and oils.

I was just worried that it would make my hair heavy and tangled, but far from it, this clear shampoo actually lightens and volumizes my fine strands! It smells like peppermint and rosemary too, which perks me up whenever I bring this sudsy shampoo to a lather.

I've been using it for a month now and have not experienced any break outs. I rotate it with my normal shampoo + a clarifying shampoo just because.

So did I get a thicker head of hair? Well, my hair fall did lessen and I am now getting more volume on my head. That's more than I can wish for in a shampoo! I'm very happy with this and will re-purchase once I run out.

I found the Avalon Organics Thickening Shampoo in Watsons SM Aura btw. I'm not sure if all Watsons carries this brand; I just noticed it for the first around August. Let me know what you think if you've tried it and where you found it!
