Beauty Roundup: A new base from Happy Skin, MAC’s Hyper Real line, and the arrival of KIKO Milano!
Ah, it’s finally the month of February, PV Community! I say that because I’m sure you’ll agree that January felt so long - but we are not complaining. Anyway, what are you looking forward to this month? For me, it’s the end of a school term and of course, more beauty releases!
To the rescue
Happy Skin just added a new finish to the Rescue Me Sun Gel family and it’s a multifunctional one. The Rescue Me Tinted Matte Sun Gel Primer (P1,199) is a one-and-done SPF40 fresh matte tint with medium coverage that smoothens skin, evens out redness, and protects skin from harmful UV rays. It currently is available in two shades - light beige and soft beige. Now, which among the three sun gels interests you the most - tinted matte, clear matte or tinted dewy?
The hype is real
There’s a new high-performance skincare line that’s born from science and approved by makeup artists - MAC’s Hyper Real! Included in the range are the Fresh Canvas Cleansing Oil (P2,600), Skincanvas Balm Moisturizing Cream (P3,000), and the Serumizer Skin Balancing Hydration Serum (P3,400), which is formulated with the exclusive Pro-4 Power Infusion Matrix (Japanese Peony Extract, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, and Ceramides). There’s also the new 001 Serum + Moisurizer Brush (P2,900) for luxurious application of this range. I personally tried the Serumizer already, and I love it so much - it works so well with makeup!
Ciao, KIKO Milano
We now get to live life in Italian color because KIKO Milano, the number one makeup brand in Italy, is now in the Philippines! The brand just opened its first flagship store in the country, which is specifically located at Level 1, North Main Mall, SM Mall of Asia. Liz and I were able to visit the store opening and the store has 1,200 products waiting to be explored! Truly a beauty haven!
Okay, that’s it for this week. See you next time!
