Five Things You Need To Get at The Careline x SpongeBob Sale

This story is made in partnership with Careline

Admittedly, when Careline released their massive makeup collab with Spongebob late last year, I was well and truly overwhelmed. It was released in three batches and I was still overwhelmed. I’ve previously reviewed the first phase of the collection, then the third drop of their collaboration, and I’ve given my top 3 favorite products from the entire roster. It’s an amazing collection though and you should get a few things from it, if you haven’t yet! In fact, now is the best time to do it because EVERYTHING is 25% off for the rest of July. Don’t know what to buy? I’ve tried every single Careline x Spongebob item and here are the top five items you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

The first is the Careline x SpongeBob Aye Aye Lashes Mascara (P325 on sale at P244). I’ve raved about this up and down social media already, but just in case you haven’t seen any of that, this is the best everyday mascara I’ve tried to date. It’s super black, lengthens AND volumizes, keeps my lashes curled up all day, doesn’t smudge and smear, and it’s a one-coat-and-you’re-done kind of mascara. It comes off with a cleansing oil with a little coaxing, but not as difficult as Japanese waterproof mascaras. I already have THREE backup tubes (takot maubusan) but I plan to buy a couple more from the sale! It’s really so good especially for the price.

Then you have to try the Best Blush Ever Powder Blush in Imagination (P250, on sale at P188). There are three other shades available but Imagination is the most wearable and most pretty across a larger range of skin tones. It’s a beautiful warm coral with fine gold shimmer, and hey, it lasts up to seven hours on my skin with no problems. It goes on skin like a dream and blends with no effort. If you’re looking for a cool-toned blush, try Wumbo!

Next is the Oh, Puh-Lips Lip Oil (P325, on sale at P244) in the shade Jellyfish Jam. This became a minor sensation on TikTok, it’s such a good lip formula! It’s a lip oil but you get a generous amount of color along with the moisture. Jellyfish Jam is the prettiest shade for me because it’s a muted, pinky rose on the lips but Chocolate Bar would be a close second - try it out if you’re looking for something warmer.

The Oh My Blush Liquid Blush (P325, on sale at P244) is another super good formula. If you like Rare Beauty liquid blushes, these are very similar but for a fraction of the cost! It’s easy to blend and stays on skin for at least four to five hours. Shell Pink is my favorite shade - it’s a must-have if you’re into desaturated blush as popularized by K-Beauty.

Last but not least, the Imagination Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Beach (P395, on sale at P296) is a winner. Now, if you already have a neutral eyeshadow palette then it’s not as much of a need but if you’re looking for a good nude palette then this is a steal! All the shades are blendable, buildable, and easy to work with even if you’re a complete eyeshadow newbie. It’s a great starter palette!

And that’s it. I hope my list helps you make a decision about what to add next to your kit! Check out the full Spongebob x Careline 33-piece collection here and grab your favorites before they’re gone!
