Today, I'm here to cut through the clutter and provide a clear, straightforward breakdown of mascara types and what those labels on the packaging actually signify.

First things first: all mascaras are meant to enhance your lashes in different ways. The trick is to identify what your lashes actually need, and then go from there. Second, some mascaras have different labeling or descriptors in the packaging, but work the same way. One mascara type may also have other features; some mascaras are fiber and curling mascaras, some can be both nourishing and volumizing.
