SNAILWHITE’s new glow-boosting body washes feel light yet extra nourishing on the skin

When I was asked to try SNAILWHITE’s new botanical body washes, I was both intrigued and a little skeptical. I haven’t tried anything from the brand, although I’ve heard good things about their skin care products. I knew that their Whipp Soaps were incredibly popular and effective, but I usually favor gentle body washes. However, after a quick glance at the product description, I decided to give them a try. I’ve had a good history with products infused with snail mucin, after all. And if the body washes turned out to be too drying, I could always moisturize with body lotion right after use.

Spoiler alert: I should not have wasted my time worrying about dry skin! These two body washes felt so moisturizing on the skin, without the stickiness. After showering, my skin felt smooth and supple, even before applying moisturizers or lotions. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a moisturizing body wash that’s also brightening and anti-aging. Both have a pleasantly gentle floral scent that lasts for a couple of hours after bathing.

SNAILWHITE Healthy & Glow Body Wash

The new SNAILWHITE Body Wash: Healthy & Glow (P395, 500mL) is a brightening body wash– take note, not whitening! Infused with Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Snail Mucin, it is meant to even out skin tone for a healthy, even complexion, all while nourishing and repairing the skin. It also contains Superox-C, a skin-caring ingredient derived from the fruit extract of the Australian Kakadu plant. This extract is rich in antioxidants, and is touted to carry 100 times more Vitamin C than an orange! This body wash is also infused with Daisy Extract, which helps to combat skin inflammation. Bonus: the flower extract also gives the body wash a gentle, youthful, floral fragrance.

SNAILWHITE Smooth & Youthful Body Wash

If achieving more youthful skin appeals to you, you might like the new SNAILWHITE Body Wash: Smooth & Youthful (P395, 500mL). Infused with Niacinamide, Nano Collagen, and Snail Mucin, it helps improve skin elasticity while evening out the skin tone and nourishing the skin for a more youthful complexion. The most intriguing aspect of this body wash was the Nano Collagen– simply put, it’s regular collagen that’s been reduced to a nanometer in size, allowing it to soak into and penetrate the skin barrier at a faster, more effective rate than standard collagen.

Its botanical component, Rosemary Extract, is rich in anti-aging antioxidants, helps to calm the skin, and has antimicrobial properties. This has a floral scent, as well, but is more defined compared to the Daisy body wash. I also found this a smidge more moisturizing than the other variant.

Final Thoughts

The new SNAILWHITE botanical body washes have a great concept: brightening and anti-aging formulas infused with botanical ingredients, while staying in line with the brand’s snail mucin-infused skin care products. I usually go for light, clean fragrances, but I surprisingly liked both floral scents as neither overwhelmed my sensitive nose.  I like the gel-cream texture of the body wash, which feels refreshingly light on the skin yet doesn’t leave my skin dry. Both the daisy and rosemary body washes left my skin feeling smooth and silky to the touch!

In short, both variants made my shower experience more pleasing and relaxing! Just make sure to follow the instructions for use: dispense a small amount on your palm, rub to create a rich foam, and lather on to the skin–do not apply it directly on the body as this may make the product difficult to wash off.

Plus, it’s such a steal at only P395 for 500mL, and even better? For the ultimate steal this month, SNAILWHITE is putting up both body washes for Buy 1, Get 1 until October 12, which will last me much, much more than a few months in my shower caddy for sure. Get yours now at your nearest Watsons branch, or online via SNAILWHITE official stores at Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, or Tiktok Shop.
