Pureology is well-known for its line of hair color care shampoos and conditioners. Their products has Anti-Fade and ZeroSulfate properties to ensure that colored hair is always in top notch condition. Now, the popular brand has branched off to provide not only products, but hair care and styling services!
Alex Carbonell of Studio Fix by Alex Carbonell and Chrissy Calderon-Uy of Hairworks Salon attended the Pureologist Certification Training held last April 27-29, 2010 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ms. Lynna Choi, the Asia Regional Education Manager of Pureology, facilitated the three-day training and certification.

As further proof that the green revolution is going stronger, Pureology has announced its support of a small town called Teresa, Rizal which is currently implementing an innovative solution to their garbage problem. As you know, Rizal was one of the worst hit provinces during the typhoon Ondoy. The citizens seem to have learned their lesson so instead of expecting garbage trucks to pick up and dump their trash which eventually clog the waterways, they are now recycling! Not only that, they're earning money from their trash!
Teresa has an Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility which converts plastics to be mixed into concrete. The concrete is then used as hollow blocks and pavement blocks, which is just as sturdy yet cheaper than the commercial ones. How cool is that?
Yes, even their gift bag is recycled and reusable.
In support of this noble project, Pureology will be donating P1 to Teresa for every bottle of their products sold. Aside from that, the brand encourages their customers to turn in empty bottles of Pureology which will also be donated to Teresa's waste management program.
