The Promod End of Season sale is ON!

Yesterday I came from a meeting in U.N. Avenue. That place is horrible! I spent two hours getting there, stuck in Osmena Highway traffic then in a minor flood in Paco. After the meeting, the avenue looked like a parking lot, so I had to walk to the LRT station (in the rain, at that) so I can get to Buendia in one piece. I haven't ridden that train in more than two years! Taft is a nightmare when it rains, and I know this because I spent four years of university there.

Okay, after writing that paragraph, I realized that I sound like a total prick. I'm usually not. But I hate commuting to somewhere unless I can get to it by cab in under 40 minutes. Yeah, me and everyone else.

ANYWAY! At least I managed to get to the Promod End of Season sale in Greenbelt 5 after that grueling experience! It officially starts today but the kind folks at Promod invited some bloggers and their top costumers to get first dibs on the merchandise last night. Needless to say, there was a palpable shopping frenzy in the air as everyone grabbed their favorite Promod pieces at 40-50% off.

There were a lot of great items going for P1,600 below. Staples like jeans and shorts were on sale (their jeans are awesome), as well as accent pieces and tops that are bound to liven up your wardrobe. Notables are the leather jackets that will certainly be useful in the upcoming rainy days, as well as the cute skirts and airy printed dresses that will be nice additions to your current outfit selections.

I SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO BACK FOR THIS SKIRT. PLEASE STILL BE AVAILABLE IN MY SIZE WHEN I RETURN. KTHNX. I'm hitting myself in the head for not getting this pronto, but I was hesitating because there wasn't a sale tag (even though it's in the sale rack)

Creamy white skirt with tan belt. Classic and will give you an instantly fresh look.

Color blocked skirt. I love this, but it was P1,600, and I'm not keen on spending that much for a skirt.

Cropped cardigans

Lovely floral dresses for everyday wear. It's the kind of dress that you can just throw in whenever you don't want to think about what to wear for the day

Dresses for only P1,295

Cuuuuute dress! Would have gotten this except I am not big on butterflies. Florals yes, but not butterflies.

Basic tops for P795

Jackets. Leather jackets dominate, but there are some nice soft denim blazers for the more conservative folks

Leather jackets are on sale at P2,500-ish. They come in different designs and colors (black, dirty beige, and olive)

The more I look at this, the more I think I should have gotten this. Printed red shirt for P995

Bags were also on sale!

Accessories

It kind of breaks my heart now that we have arrived at this part, but it must be done. There were shoes at fantastic prices. But unfortunately there are no longer available in my size!!! Yes that line deserves several exclamation points (imagine a ragetoon while you're at it). These shoes were only at P1,295 I think. Such a steal. But we are not meant to be.

If you are size 8 or 9, you better get these before they're OOS. And I am also staring at you with daggers in my eyes right now.

This also comes in a tan-yellowish version! Sigh.

Flatforms! Yellow! Wooden heel! Win.

This is cute and is available in my size but I have a couple of new flats so I gave them a miss

Now that that emotional torture is over, we move on to my favorite part. Here are the items I came home with!

Both pieces were at P1,295, not bad! I'm sure I'll have fun wearing them. So...yes, you better go to the Promod sale is there's a branch near you. It runs from today until July 31 so you can take your sweet time, but the stocks are running out quickly. You can find Promod in Greenbelt 5, Trinoma, Abreeza Mall Davao, Ayala Center Cebu, SM Cebu, Megamall, Southmall, Gateway, and Robinson’s Ermita.
