Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner Duo in Metallic Chic

Have you guys seen the Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner Duo in Metallic Chic? It's pretty no? The textured palette reminds me so much of cozy cableknit sweaters. That aside, you'll find that this palette is better than Revlon's last few ones.

Shade selection. The CustomEyes Shadow & Liner Duo has five eyeshadows (the darkest of which you are supposed to use as an eyeliner) that are decently pigmented and nicely chosen. I haven't seen a palette combination like this yet, which is great because it forces me to come up with new combinations. I also like using some of the shades separately with my other eyeshadows.

Pigmentation and texture. Pigmentation is great - for two of the colors. The green and the bronze shades are pretty amazing! I don't need a base to make them show up. The gold and silver, however, are chalky and gritty, so they are best applied wet and/or with an eyeshadow base. The charcoal shade is best used wet for lining the eyes; it doesn't do much by itself.

When worn over an eyeshadow base like MAC Prep + Prime

Packaging. I like the cable-knit texture and the slim shape. It's something I can just slap inside my bag for applying eyeshadows while out of the house.

Price. I don't have price info yet, will update this! But this should be roughly P600-P800, knowing Revlon.

Verdict. The Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner Duo in Metallic Chic can definitely be improved. I do love the bronze and green shades though, they're pretty ace! Reminds me of the Revlon Luxurious Color eyeshadows I had.
