FOTD: Polished peach
I'm trying to shake myself out of this summer beauty laziness by wearing a more interesting face. The other day I had sea green cream eyeshadow on, and yesterday I piled a green and violet eyeliner on top of each other. Because, why not! I've also been rummaging through my old makeup to see what I can do with them.
Due to the large number of products that arrive for me to review, I always end up forgetting things I really liked in the past. One of them is the Estee Lauder Violet Underground Palette, a limited release from 2012 if I'm not mistaken. It contains bold eyeshadows but I decided to try that shimmery beige on top of the Benefit High Brow Pencil. The combination came out looking peachy!
So from that, I created this polished peach makeup that is ever so slightly smoky. Here's what I used!
Face: Etude House Any Cushion Cream, MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, Ellana Pressed Mineral Foundation
Cheeks: Ellana Blush Duo in Kitten/ Obsession
Eye definition: MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set in Quiet Brunette, T Le Clerc eyeliner, The Balm Body Builder Mascara
Eyeshadow: NARS Pro Primer, Benefit High Brow Pencil topped with a rosy beige from the Estee Lauder palette, MAC Concrete eyeshadow (from the MAC Maleficent Quad) on the crease, a bit of the MAC Ground Brown on the outer v for definition
Lips: Burt's Bees Lip Balm and the Ellana Lip & Cheek Palette in Illusion (such a flattering peach!)
And that is that. ^_^ Hope you enjoyed the look! Lemme know if you have other suggestions, I'm raring to flex my makeup muscles haha.
