My latest Shiseido haul + the lowdown on the International Beauty Fair 2015
It had occurred to me that it's been two years since I started raving about the Shiseido Ibuki line like a lunatic foaming at the mouth. I'm surprised it's been that long. I still use the Gentle Facial Wash and Softener religiously. Even if I get the latest skincare products to try, I still keep backups of my precious Ibuki.
That's perhaps the reason I always have an eye on what's new from Shiseido. One never knows when a game-changing product will come along! I'm aware just how intense and thorough Shiseido is about researching and developing new things for us beauty fiends. I managed to get some of the brand's latest additions, and here's why they're worth a closer look.
Shiseido White Lucent All Day Brightener SPF36PA+++ (P2,750). You know how I am with anything brightening! This is a hydrating illuminator with sun protection thrown in. Be not afraid of shimmer, dear girl. It's good for you sometimes!
Shiseido Perfecting Stick Concealer (P1,350). I was so impressed by the creamy texture and heavy coverage that I didn't think twice about grabbing two. I also got a darn well good shade match at #33. Check this out if you're wanting an opaque yellow concealer for your under eyes and blemishes.
Shiseido Veiled Rouge (P1,350). This is a new lippie line! It's very glossy, plumping, and (like all Shiseido lippies) non-drying.
Shiseido Glow-Enhancing Primer (P1,750). Call me primer crazy, but I can't have enough of sheer, lasting bases this summer. Hope this doesn't disappoint as I love the thin texture.
Shiseido Ibuki Multi Solution Gel (P1,998). Forgot to add this one to the group shot! I'm most excited about this gel skin saver. It's not something one should use everyday; it's only for bad skin days, when you need to brighten and smoothen up the texture in a snap.
I just used it an hour ago and gosh I can't help touching my face. 0_0 What is in this jar???
Anyway, more on these products in the very near future. In the meantime do visit the Shiseido International Beauty Fair, which is happening in the SM Mega Fashion Hall right now until March 19. It will then move to the Podium Activity Center on March 23 to 28, then to the SM Mall of Asia Atrium on March 29 to 31.
