Five affordable gel moisturizers to try this summer

Girls with oily and troubled skin typically avoid moisturizer like the plague, thinking that it will make them even oilier. That's not true. The right moisturizer for your skin type can hydrate your skin properly and possibly even cause it to produce less oil, as it balances itself out. Besides, well-moisturized skin will keep its elasticity and plumpness longer! This might not seem important at the moment but it will matter ten years into the future.

Since summer has arrived, it's time to switch to lighter moisturizers that won't feel greasy in this weather. These are all water-based and absorbed by the skin quickly. Try 'em out soon!

Pond's Flawless White Dewy Rose Gel (P149). This is best for normal to dry skin as it's almost feels like a cream moisturizer. It's still lighter though! This has brightening properties for all of you needing a bit of glow.

Olay Equation Long Lasting Hydration Gel (P859). Light and fluffy, this blue goo is good for normal to oily skin. It feels like nothing on skin once it's dry. Very refreshing!

Etude House AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion (P548). If you've got oily, acne-prone skin, this gel moisturizer is for you. It helps calm redness and dry up pimples a little faster. It comes in a big bottle so it'll take forever to use up!

Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel (P699 in Watsons). This is a scentless, clear gel moisturizer with zero emulsifiers and oil. It's for sensitive, acne-prone skin.

Tony Moly Pure Eco Aloe Gel (~P300). This big tub is both for the face and body. It also has barely any scent and sinks into the skin with no fuss!

Hope this helps! ^_^ My favorite gel moisturizer is the Clinique Moisture Surge up to this day. Still, I'm happy that there are more and more affordable alternatives in the market! Any other ones you'd care to share?
