"I just can't look, it's killing me" is my favorite line from Mr. Brightside by The Killers. It's an old song - I've been listening to it since high school - but that line as well as the opening riffs never fail to get me. There's something about the naked desire with equal parts hope and hopelessness in that song that somehow characterizes much of my life so far.

Anyhoo, thought of making a playlist for you guys! I've been posting my favorite songs every so often, but they're in different blog posts. This time, they're all in one place! I love everything here. They smell of sadness and the damp, a little bit, but it's an old familiar feeling that has transformed into something comfortable. There is a light that never goes out, after all.
