Beauty Roundup: A beauty device from Happy Skin, MAC gives back, Estée Lauder’s Double Wear goes sheer, and a new Chanel collection!
I’m sure you’ve all heard the news about the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases. Following this, we at Project Vanity hope you’re all staying safe, healthy, and informed. Now, if you are looking for a distraction, which we could all use every once in a while, then here’s the latest in beauty!
A nice device
Since it’s all about self-care, Happy Skin released a new beauty device - the Facial Cleansing and Massage Silicone Rechargeable Device. Having four modes available, this device helps promote glowing skin, skin firmness, and product absorption. Now, the device isn’t sold separately, but you can get your own when you purchase Happy Skin’s skincare sets.
Viva, Viva Glam
Remember when I wrote about the MAC Viva Glam Keith Haring collection and how Viva Glam is committed to giving back in one of my recent beauty roundups? Well, MAC Cosmetics Philippines, through the Viva Glam fund, has just donated P840,000 to help victims of the typhoon Odette.
Sheer joy
The classic and iconic Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation now has a sheer variant. Lightweight, natural, and matte, the Double Wear Sheer Long-Wear Foundation (P2,550) gives 12-hour wear, oil and shine control, and sun and blue light protection. Oh, it also has SPF 20/PA++!
Chanel does sustainability
Chanel just dropped the N°1 DE CHANEL collection - an eco-responsible, holistic, and revitalizing line that represents Chanel’s sustainable approach to beauty, from its packaging to formula and ingredients. Included in the collection are a powder-to-foam cleanser, revitalizing lotion, serum, illuminating eye cream, cream, serum-in-mist, foundation and fragrance mist, and lip and cheek balm. How fabulous!
Okay, that’s it for this week! See you again next time!
